Mr. Ingram graduated from Prince George County High School. While working for the Hopewell Post Office, he began his real estate career with Cuddihy Real Estate in 1968. In 1973 Mr. Ingram and LeRoy Houser started their own partnership as Ingram & Houser Real Estate. The business grew to the point of opening a branch office in Chester. At this point in 1984, Mr. Ingram and Mr. Houser decided to go in their own directions and out of this, Ingram & Associates Real Estate Company Inc. was formed.

Today, Mr. Ingram has two offices. The main office is in Hopewell with the branch office located in Chester.

Mr. Ingram has also been very, involved in local and state government. He was elected to Hopewell’s City Council in 1986 and served as mayor until being elected as delegate in the Virginia House of Delegates in 1991. He served in this capacity for 28 years.
